The flavor is surprisingly complex for a honey—I caught the sage and mint notes right away, and it's not cloyingly sweet. Spread it on toast and it melts in perfectly, though I’ve also been drizzling it over plain yogurt for a week now. It’s clear this was never heated, the texture is so smooth.
The color is deeper than most honey I've tried, a rich amber that smells like a meadow. You can really taste the sage and a cool minty finish that lingers, and it's never grainy or overly sweet. I've been drizzling it over plain yogurt all week.
